2 struck and killed by pickup that jumped curb in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people died after they were struck by a driver in a pickup on a sidewalk in northwest Oklahoma City Thursday evening.

According to KFOR, the victims were walking along the sidewalk along NW 10th Street near N Portland Avenue when a driver in a pickup jumped over the curb and struck them.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup was detained by police. No further details on the crash have been disclosed.
