2-year-old girl drowns in pond at Tulsa park

TULSA, OK – A toddler girl drowned in a pond at a park in Tulsa today, according to KTUL News.

The accident happened at a family event at O’Brien Park, located on E 66th Street N and N Lewis Avenue, after the family lost sight of a 2-year-old girl.

The child’s father pulled her body from the pond.

Despite the resuscitative efforts of emergency personnel, the child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
