21-year-old man dead after crashing into tree in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, OK (ROGER MILLS COUNTY) – A 21-year-old man died after his vehicle collided with a tree in the Cheyenne area yesterday morning, according to OKC FOX.

The collision happened on Highway 47, about a half-mile west of County Road 1810, as a 21-year-old Reydon man Damien Gibson was headed eastbound. His vehicle went off the side of the road and collided with a tree.

Gibson, who was ejected during the crash, died at the scene.

No other injuries were immediately reported.
