23-year-old woman killed in early-morning truck crash north of Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A 23-year-old woman was killed in a collision with a semi-truck on I-44 just north of Tulsa early this morning, according to information from KFOR News.

The crash happened on I-44 W, north of W 56th Street, at around 3:52 a.m., when a 2021 Freightliner semi-truck collided with a 2009 Ford Escape.

The driver of the Escape, 23-year-old Heaven McDougal, of Sapulpa, was pinned within the wreckage for over an hour.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, and firefighters freed her body from the wreck.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
