3 injured in rollover crash after carjacking near Bethany

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK — Three people were hurt in a rollover collision Friday morning during a police pursuit near Bethany, according to KOCO.

The crash happened in the area of Northwest 49th Street and Mueller Avenue shortly after 10:00 a.m.

Oklahoma City Police and Bethany Police were both involved in the incident that began with a nearby carjacking. Officials said a police chase ended with the suspect vehicle flipping over.

Fire crews responded to the scene to remove three occupants out of the impacted vehicle. All three suspects were placed under custody as they were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers said they recovered two guns and a taser in the wrecked car.
