5 people from Arkansas killed in head-on crash in Leflore County

CAMERON, OK (LEFLORE COUNTY) – Five people from Arkansas were killed in a collision in eastern Oklahoma on Friday morning, according to Fox 24 News.

The crash happened south of Cameron on State Highway 112 at about 11 a.m., when the 76-year-old driver of a Jeep Cherokee went over the median and into the lanes of oncoming traffic. His vehicle crashed head-on into another car.

Inside that car were 42-year-old Aaron Gamble and his 15-year-old son, both of Arkansas. They both died at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep, 76-year-old Charles Drushal, and two passengers, 53-year-old Jill Drushal and a 15-year-old girl, all three of Fort Smith, Ark., were also pronounced dead at the scene.
