Bicyclist hospitalized after struck by Jeep in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was taken to the hospital after being hit by a driver in a Jeep in the southwest metro on Monday.

According to News9, the woman was riding her bike on SW 149th Street between S Santa Fe Avenue and S Western Avenue when she was hit. A good Samaritan stopped to help her and called 911.

She was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the Jeep remained on the scene to speak with authorities. The incident remains under investigation.
