Broken gas line forces evacuations in central OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities were forced to evacuate an apartment complex in central Oklahoma City today after a 12-inch gas line ruptured.

According to Fox 25, the incident occurred near NW 4th Street and N Lee Avenue sometime earlier today. One apartment complex was evacuated, while other residences in the area remained on standby.

Oklahoma City Fire Department and hazmat responded to the scene. We will update this blog should more information become available.
