Car crash reported in Edmond, catches fire causing power outages

EDMOND, OK – A car crashed into a power pole in Edmond on Friday night, reports News 9.
Emergency crews responded to a car crash at Danforth Road and Faircloud Drive, east of Bryant around 10 p.m. The driver had crashed into a power pole.
The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire. Parts of east Edmond were out of power for some time.
Whether anyone was injured in the crash isn’t clear at this time. Updates will be made as information becomes available.
