Car strikes, injures woman riding horse in Spencer

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman riding a horse was injured after being struck by a car in the Spencer area of Oklahoma City on Tuesday evening, reports KFOR.

First responders were dispatched to the intersection of NE 63 and Spencer Rd around 9:45 p.m. When they arrived on the scene they found the rider severely injured and her horse lying dead 50 yards away.

The rider was hospitalized in critical condition. The drive was arrested for driving under suspension.
