EDMOND, OK – Investigators with the Edmond Police Department are looking into the cause of a multi-vehicle collision that occurred northwest of Edmond early Friday morning.

According to News 9, the crash occurred near the intersection of Coffee Creek Road and Santa Fe Avenue sometime before 3:30 a.m. Officials say one individual was transported to the hospital as a result of the crash.

Oklahoma City man struck by a car on Tulsa freeway

TULSA, OK – A man from Oklahoma City was injured after being struck by a car along the shoulder of a freeway near Tulsa Tuesday morning.

According to Tulsa World, 58-year-old Eddie Christman was hit while walking on the shoulder of U.S. 169 near 56th Street at about 6:00 a.m.

Police say the driver swerved into the shoulder to avoid hitting another vehicle and struck the pedestrian as a result. Christman was rushed to the hospital to be treated for injuries. Information regarding his condition has not been made available as of Wednesday morning.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No charges have been filed against them at this time.

MCCLAIN COUNTY, OK – Officials have reported injuries resulting from a collision along Interstate 35 in McClain County early Thursday evening.

According to the official Twitter page of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision occurred in the northbound lanes of I-35 near mile marker 83 at about 3:20 p.m.

The far left lane of I-35 northbound was closed for about 2 hours, reopening just before 5:45 p.m.

Tulsa car fire destroys an SUV

TULSA, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma City Fire Department are unsure what caused the fire that completely totaled an SUV near downtown late Wednesday night.

According to News 9, the fire was reported near the intersection of 11th Street and East Skelley Drive shortly before 12:00 a.m.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the fire. Details regarding what may have caused the SUV to burst into flames are still under investigation.

The owner of the SUV has yet to be identified as of Thursday evening.

Tulsa rush-hour collision halts traffic

TULSA, OK – Officials in Tulsa have reported significant delays resulting from a rush-hour collision west of downtown Monday evening.
