Collision near Crescent on State Hwy 74 kills 1, injures another

CRESCENT, OK – One man died and another was injured following a collision on the section of State Hwy 74 two miles south of Crescent on Sunday afternoon, according to Guthrie News Page.

Police say that Ralph C. Krehbiel, 71, was driving a Buick LaCrosse on northbound State Hwy 74 when he strayed out of the center line and collided head-on with a Chevy Impala operated by Kim L. Flatt, 32.

First responders pronounced Flatt dead at the scene when they arrived in the area around 1:05 p.m. Krehbiel was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center in critical condition.

The case is under investigation.
