Collision with tractor kills 2, hospitalizes one near Afton

AFTON, OK – Two are dead and one is hospitalized following a collision involving a tractor on Monday, reports KTUL.

Authorities received reports of the incident around 11:30 a.m. and were dispatched to the intersection of 220 Rd and 500 Rd.

A GVM Prowler tractor driven by an unidentified person collided with a Ford Explorer occupied by Douglas Goodner, 48, William McWhirt, 59, and an unidentified third passenger.

Goodner and McWhirt were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The third passenger was hospitalized and is expected to be OK. The tractor driver was uninjured.

Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
