Deadly crash kills 1 on OKC bridge near I-44

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person died after crashing into a bridge near I-44 on Monday night.

According to KOCO, the person crashed their vehicle just south of the I-44 eastbound exit near Lake Hefner Parkway. They were driving north when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge support pier.

The person was transported to an area hospital where they later died of their injuries.
