Driver on 56th St crashes, flees scene on foot

According to police, the incident happened on the part of 56 St North near Frankfort Ave.

A witness on the scene informed police that someone crawled out the back window of a red car after the vehicle rolled over. The driver then ran away.

The vehicle was damaged to such an extent that officers say they are surprised someone could walk away from the crash. Police are still trying to find the missing driver.
