Edmond driver strikes person, fuel tanker, flees scene

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver fled the scene of an accident on Monday morning after striking a gas station employee and a fuel tanker, reports KFOR.

At around 2 a.m. a driver struck an employee of the OnCue gas station located at 3735 NW 164th St, near the intersection of NW 164th and Portland Ave, and then slammed into a fuel tanker truck, starting a fire in the process.

The employee who was struck as well as the driver of the fuel tanker were both hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the car fled the scene and is still at large.
