Grass fire in west OKC burns 10 cars, 3 hospitalized

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A grass fire spread to a parking lot and burned 10 vehicles, injuring several people in west OKC on Monday.

According to KFOR, the grass fire spread to a Chick-fil-A parking lot near I-40 and MacArthur Boulevard. Crews responded to the scene and put out 10 vehicle fires. All the vehicles were owned by Chick-fil-A employees.

13 people were evaluated for smoke inhalation with three of them needing to be hospitalized.

The incident remains under investigation.
