Hit-and-run driver runs over person after finding out McDonald’s is closed

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A hit-and-run driver allegedly struck a person in a McDonald’s drive-thru in southeast Oklahoma city after finding out that the restaurant was closed, according to KOCO News.

The incident occurred at a McDonald’s drive-thru near SE 29th Street and I-35, after a white man driving a maroon, four-door pickup truck was told that the restaurant was closed. He grew angry after this, then sped away. In the process, he ran over another person’s feet and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities continue to search for the hit-and-run driver and to investigate the accident.
