Kansas woman injured in Lake Eufala boat explosion

MCINTOSH COUNTY, OK – A woman from Kansas is in critical condition following a boat explosion on Lake Eufala yesterday afternoon, according to a report by KOKH.

The boat exploded around 12:20 p.m. yesterday, for reasons that are unknown at present.

At the time of the accident, Wichita man Johnny Marshall, 41, and 36-year-old Ashley Jansson, of Halstead, Kansas, were boating on Lake Eufala.

Jansson was sent to the hospital for treatment of multiple burn injuries.

Marshall refused to be treated at the scene, according to the article, even though he reportedly was suffering multiple burn injuries.

Authorities are investigating the accident at this time.
