Man charged with manslaughter in DUI crash

A man in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was charged with two counts of first degree manslaughter after being involved in an accident last year that killed a pregnant woman, News 9 reported on August 29.

Authorities arrested Matthew Imotichey after evidence surfaced that proved he was intoxicated last October 23 when he struck a vehicle driven by Tonia Pando, 21. The woman, who was pregnant during that time, succumbed to her injuries weeks later after being admitted to a hospital. Investigations showed that Imotichey, 25, struck Pando’s vehicle head on after crossing the median lane. The suspect is held at Gavin County Jail on a bond of $50,000.
