Man hospitalized after Meridian Ave duplex fire

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An Oklahoma City duplex fire led to the hospitalization of one man this morning, according to a report by KOCO.

The incident was reported to fire officials around 9:45 a.m. at the 4200 block of Meridian Avenue.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they discovered a man inside the building. They pulled him from the fire and administered “advanced life support” before he was sent to the hospital.

According to KOCO’s report, the victim is in “extremely critical condition.”

The fire has since been extinguished.

Officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
