Man injured in Broken Arrow pedestrian accident

BROKEN ARROW, OK – Authorities were forced to close a portion of Houston Street in Broken Arrow after a pedestrian was struck by a car Wednesday morning.

According to News on 6, the accident occurred near the intersections with Aspen and Elm Place sometime before 9:00 a.m.

Investors believe the pedestrian was struck while running across the street. He was transported to a local hospital where his condition remains unknown as of Wednesday evening.

An investigation is underway into the official cause of the incident. No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
