Man killed in Beckham County crash with semi-truck

BECKHAM COUNTY, OK – A man died after being involved in a collision with a semi-truck in Beckham County on Tuesday.
According to KFOR, the crash happened at the intersection of E 1160 Road and N 1940 Road outside of Elk City. A semi-driver was traveling west on E1160 while Travis Lee Gartner, 32, was driving south on N1940. The vehicles collided at the intersection.
When emergency crews arrived, they found Gartner pinned in his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver was treated and released from Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
