Millions of blenders recalled after complaints of injuries

A product recall was recently issued by a SharkNinja Operating LLC in Massachusetts of approximately 1.1 million blenders after the company was notified of 53 injuries, a November 12 report on cpsc.gov stated.

SharkNinja Operating reportedly recalled twelve models of their professional blenders in order to revise their warning labels and instruction manuals. Consumers who own the affected products may sustain lacerations from the blade assembly if they tilt the pitcher to empty its contents without the lid. To avoid injuries, consumers are advised to empty the pitcher’s contents through the spout of the lid or by detaching the blade unit and the lid before pouring. Consumers may also call the company or visit their website to obtain a revised copy of the instruction manual.
