Motorcyclist injured in crash on Academy Rd near Guthrie

LOGAN COUNTY, OK — One person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a motorcycle accident in southwest Guthrie, according to Guthrie News Page.

Guthrie Fire crews and the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Academy Road near West Prairie Grove Road, shortly after 4:00 p.m.

The cause of the crash was unclear, but authorities said no other vehicles were involved. The injured rider told officers his bike may have rolled over him in the wreck.

After receiving treatment at the scene, the patient was transported by ambulance to OU Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not reported, but the rider was released from the hospital that same evening.
