CHICKASHA, OK – A man died in a crash on I-44 westbound on Thursday afternoon, reports KOKH.

29-year-old Christopher Johnson was traveling on the interstate when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a guard rail.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are not sure what caused the collision.

Strangely, Johnson was the main suspect in a homicide case that involved the death of a 28-year-old female. Her body was found just an hour before the collision that killed the man.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
