OKC woman seriously injured after trying to stop car thieves

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being thrown from a vehicle in Oklahoma City on Thursday.
According to KOCO, Delilah Stockdale was warming up her vehicle and getting ready to drive her children to school when she went back inside her home. When she came back outside, she saw two men backing out of the driveway in her vehicle.
In a desperate attempt to stop them she jumped onto the hood of the car and pleaded with the thieves.
They drove two blocks before slamming on the brakes to throw Stockdale off.
She was taken to the hospital with a concussion, swelling and bleeding in the brain, and broken bones.
Police found the abandoned vehicle a few miles away and are searching for suspects. The exact location of the carjacking was not shared.
