A car accident sent an Oklahoma man to the hospital Saturday night.
According to officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 58 year-old Richard A. Durham, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle car accident Saturday night. Police say the crash occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Missouri Highway 43, about two miles north of Tiff City.
Authorities say Durham was traveling northbound on 43 in a 1999 Jeep Wrangler when he lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned, according to the accident report. Durham was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
No information on the nature of Durham’s injuries was immediately available.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
