Overnight semi crash shuts down I-35 in Edmond

EDMOND, OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were forced to shut down multiple lanes on I-35 following a crash involving a semi-truck early Friday morning.

According to News on 6, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-35 near the exit to Waterloo Road some time before 3:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the collision. Details regarding the cause of the crash remain under investigation.

Troopers shut down the southbound lanes for a few hours following the crash. They have since been reopened.
