Police searching for stolen vehicle and driver in high-speed chase

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City police are searching for a driver who escaped them during a high-speed chase late last night, according to a report by News on 6.

The chase began around 1 a.m. this morning around Northeast 10th Street and Lincoln Boulevard. Police lost track of the driver near Northwest 36th Street and Interstate 235.

The vehicle was an allegedly stolen black Dodge Avenger with a Choctaw tribal tag.

At one point during the chase, according to police, the vehicle reached a speed of almost 110 miles per hour.

Anyone with information about the chase is asked to report it to the Crime Stoppers Hotline at (405) 235-7300.
