Potentially faulty stairwell at apartment complex in OKC blamed for injury

A man recently sustained injuries in southwest Oklahoma City after the stairwell at the apartment complex where he lives suddenly malfunctioned, an article of koco.com reported on August 26.

Reports said Kyle Williams lost consciousness on August 25 after falling through the staircase at the Country Club Apartments on S. Agnew Avenue. Kyle’s mother Dana told reports that she saw how the incident took place. Kyle was reportedly going up the stairs with his bike when the stairwell failed. Kyle sustained an injury to his ankle and is already in the recovery process. The apartment complex received complaints in July due to faulty stairs and walkways. City officials will conduct an investigation to figure out the cause of the accident.
