Pregnant woman hit, dragged by driver in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A pregnant woman was hospitalized Monday evening after being struck and dragged by a vehicle in southwest Oklahoma City, according to KFOR.

The incident took place in the 1000 block of Southwest 25th Street, in the city’s Airpark neighborhood. It was first reported by KFOR at 8:27 p.m.

Authorities have not released details on the circumstances behind the event, but the female pedestrian was dragged for an unknown distance before the vehicle stopped.

The victim was said to have suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. No updates on her condition have been disclosed at this time.

Officials said the driver remained after the crash and cooperated with an investigation.

As of this writing, it is unclear whether any charges are expected to be filed.
