Rogers County District Attorney struck and injured by wrong-way driver

CLAREMORE, OK – Rogers County District Attorney Matt Ballard was hit by a wrong-way driver in Claremore early Saturday morning.

According to News9, Ballard was driving home from a gymnastics event with his daughter when he attempted to make the turn onto Highway 66 and another driver, who was traveling in the wrong direction, struck their truck.

Ballard was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries but is expected to make a full recovery. His daughter was not seriously injured in the accident.
