Pedestrian struck, hospitalized in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car early Friday morning, reports News 8.

The incident happened at the intersection of 57 West Ave and West 26 St South at around 4 a.m. A man was walking in the middle of 57 St and was struck by a car unable to swerve out of the way. According to authorities, the pedestrian was intoxicated and was wearing dark clothing.

Police say the driver will not face any charges. The pedestrian is expected to be OK.
