Fatal single-vehicle rollover crash reported on Oklahoma 113

PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK – A rollover crash on OK 113 took the life of a man Tuesday afternoon, KTUL reports.

Lawrence Snow, 59, was driving a northbound OK 113 when he failed to negotiate a turn and left the roadway. His vehicle rolled once, ejecting Snow in the process, before landing on its wheels.

Where and when the crash happened is unknown at this time.

Young Shawnee man dies in early-morning rollover crash

SHAWNEE, OK – A young Shawnee man died early this morning in a rollover crash and was not discovered until about eight hours later, according to KFOR.

Landon Elliott, 18, died about 2:30 a.m. near North Harrison Avenue, just outside of Shawnee. He and his vehicle, a Volkswagen Jetta, were found just before 10:20 a.m.

Elliott was driving westbound on Moccasin Trail and failed to stop at a stop sign, then continued through a ditch. His car went over the curb and hit several trees in the process. The vehicle rolled over an unspecified number of times.

He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash but was still ejected from the vehicle.

Grandfield man dies after single vehicle crash on U.S. 70

COTTON COUNTY, OK –  A Grandfield man died following a single-vehicle accident that occurred early on Tuesday morning. According to reports, the crash occurred at 8:57 a.m. on U.S. 70,  about two miles east of Devol and eight miles west of 2480.

The victim, 64-year-old James Kinzer, was driving his 2006 Ford F-150 when he failed to make a curve and the vehicle left the roadway, rolling over once. First responders rushed him to United Regional Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition with injuries to the head, internal organs, and limbs. He was pronounced dead later on that day.

Investigators say the victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, even though his vehicle was equipped with working restraints.
