Crash near Prattville kills teen

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident occurred somewhere near the intersection of E 42st St and S 153rd Ave.  It is not clear what time the accident happened.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time. The collision was caused by the girl failing to stay in her lane. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Multi-vehicle crash blocks I-35 in Edmond

EDMOND, OK – Troopers blocked all southbound lanes of I-35 in Edmond following an early afternoon crash on Thursday.

According to a tweet by OHP, the accident took place shortly after 1:30 p.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate, just north of the exit to 2nd Street.

It is unclear exactly how many vehicles were involved in the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result.

All lanes were blocked for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene. Traffic resumed shortly before 5:30 p.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire and police in southwest Oklahoma City were called to the scene of a vehicle fire at a busy intersection Thursday afternoon.

According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker, the fire broke out at about 1:17 p.m. within the 1440 block of Southwest 29th Street, just east of South Kentucky Avenue.

It is still unclear what may have sparked the fire. However, no injuries have been reported as a result.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area as delays and closures are likely throughout Thursday afternoon.

DEL CITY, OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported injuries resulting from a multi-vehicle collision on I-40 Tuesday morning.

According to a tweet by OHP, the accident occurred at about 7:51 a.m. within the westbound lanes of I-40 near the exit to South Sooner Road.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, two vehicles were involved and at least one person sustained unknown injuries as a result.

The outside lane was blocked for about a half-hour following the crash. All lanes have since been reopened.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured as the result of a collision along I-35 just south of downtown Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon.

According to a tweet by OHP, the incident occurred at about 4:43 p.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate at the I-240 overpass.

The number of vehicles involved in the crash is unknown at this time. However, troopers shut down all southbound lanes on this portion of the interstate while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

All lanes have since been reopened.

VALLEY BROOK, OK – A suspect died following a collision resulting from a police chase in Valley Brook Saturday afternoon.

According to KFOR, the accident took place at about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Southeast 59th Street and Shields Boulevard.
