Medical helicopter called to scene of semi crash near El Reno

EL RENO, OK – A three-vehicle collision involving a semi truck yesterday was serious enough to warrant a call for a medical helicopter, KOCO reports.

The collision happened on eastbound I-40 west of El Reno late yesterday morning.

Driver on I-40 blows tire, gets struck by semi-truck

A car was being driven on its spare tire when it blew out and caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The car was then struck by a semi-truck.

The driver of the car was hospitalized. Their current condition is not known. The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt in the collision.
