Drowsy driver crashes into 2 power poles at 61st St and Peoria Ave

TULSA, OK – According to News on 6, a woman was injured after crashing into multiple power poles at 61st St and Peoria Ave Wednesday.

The woman was on her way home from work when she fell asleep at the wheel and slammed into a power pole. Her vehicle continued until it plowed into another pole.

First responders transported the woman to an area hospital with cuts on her face. She was also showing signs of having a concussion.

Exactly when the wreck happened, as well as the current condition of the victim, are unclear at this time.

Pedestrian injured in south Tulsa hit-and-run

TULSA, OK – A woman suffered injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in south Tulsa, KTUL reports.

The woman was struck by a passing pickup truck as she was putting her grandchild in the backseat of her car.

A witness to the incident followed the truck to their home and then informed law enforcement of their location.

Emergency crews hospitalized the woman with minor injuries.
