Update: More information on Deer Creek drowning released

Deer Creek, OK – More details have been released concerning the drowning of a teen in Deer Creek, reports News on 6.

The manner of death has been changed by the Medical Examiner from “accidental death” to pending.

Toyin Amuda was found unresponsive in a pool on the 21600 block of Villagio Dr around 2:30 a.m. on June 16. Despite life saving measures, Amuda died at the scene.

According to the police report, trash bags full of beer cans and liquor bottles were found at the scene, as was a marijuana cigarette.
