A teenager was recently killed in an accident involving two All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), an October 18 article of News Channel 4 reported.
According to official reports, the accident occurred when 15-year-old Colton Schneider, a student at Edmund North High School, was riding an ATV together with another passenger in Grant County early Saturday morning on October 17. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol revealed that the ATV driver swerved to avoid a second ATV that was stalled in the road. The sudden swerve caused the ATV to roll over, throwing Colton from the recreational vehicle.
State authorities have not released any identifying information of the other individuals involved in the incident, nor have their conditions or injury reports been made public.
The Schneider family is asking for donations through an online fund raising website under Colton’s name to be used for memorial services and other costs related to the accident.
