OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A teenage boy was sent to the hospital after crews freed him from underneath a pickup in South OKC on Thursday, reports KFOR.

Emergency crews responded to the 9000 block of South Santa Fe and found a pickup truck on top of a young teenager. The boy had been sledding with friends at the Crossroads Sports Complex when he ended up trapped beneath the truck.

Icy terrain made the rescue effort difficult but they were finally able to free him. He was transported to an area hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
