Two people hospitalized after late-night wrong-way crash on I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were hospitalized following a head-on crash reportedly caused by a wrong-way driver on I-40 late last night, according to information from KFOR.
The collision happened on eastbound I-40 near Western Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue at around 11:30 p.m., when a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Two people were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
Authorities shut down the interstate for several hours as they worked the scene. They continue to investigate at this time.
