Two people seriously hurt in wrong-way crash on Kilpatrick Tpke

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least two people were seriously hurt in a wrong-way accident on the Kilpatrick Turnpike in northwest Oklahoma City last night, according to News on 6.

The accident happened near I-40 when a driver traveling in the wrong direction on Kilpatrick collided head-first with another vehicle on the highway.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.

Their identities have not yet been publicly revealed.

The crash caused Kilpatrick to be closed until about 3 a.m. for the cleanup and investigation of the collision.
