Update: Man arrested for crashing into a woman riding a horse in Spencer

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man has been arrested for the crash involving a woman riding a horse in the Spencer area of Oklahoma City Tuesday evening, reports News on 6.

The crash occurred at the intersection of NE 63 and Spencer Rd and was reported around 9:45 p.m. Carol Surber, 57, was riding her horse when she was struck by Muhammed Currie, 42.

Surber was severely injured and her horse was found dead 50 yards away. Surber was arrested for not having a license. Police suspect impairment may have played a factor in the collision.
