Update: Police release more info on crash at NW 23rd St and Ann Arbor

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities have released more information concerning a crash that sent two children and a pregnant woman to the hospital on Saturday, News on 6 reports.

According to witnesses, the suspect was traveling at around 60 mph when they rear-ended another vehicle near 23rd St and N Purdue Ave.

One of the vehicles involved in the collision was occupied by a pregnant woman, a 5-year-old girl, and a 9-year-old girl.  All three were hospitalized with serious injuries at OU Medical Center.

The suspect was ejected from his vehicle during the crash. Officers searched the vehicle and discovered an alcoholic beverage. However, due to the suspect’s injuries, police could not perform a sobriety test. However, they are requesting that the hospital provide them with a blood sample from the suspect to test it.
