UPDATED STORY: Victims identified in fatal collision on 51st Street on Monday

TULSA, OK. – Tulsa Police have released the identities of the victims of a fatal wreck that happened on Monday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Nicole Underwood, 33, and Troyanna Lane, 2.

As we’ve reported previously, Underwood and Lane were passengers in a car that crashed into a pickup truck that was exiting Interstate 44 at the 3600 block of East 51st Street at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. According to the Tulsa World, the driver of the pickup truck the victims were riding in had stolen beer from a convenience store and fled, running at least one red light before colliding with the pickup truck.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The pickup driver was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
