WAGONER, OK – A collision near Wagoner on U.S. 69 sent two to the hospital and injured three others, reports Muskogee Phoenix.

The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon at around 4:10 p.m. Clarissa S. Bayless, 30, was driving north on U.S. 69 in a GMC truck as Jacob R. Replogle, 29, was driving south in a Ford F-250.

Bayless lost control of the vehicle and strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with Replogle’s vehicle. The force of the impact forced Bayless’s to roll over. Neither Bayless or Replogle were wearing a seatbelt.

Bayless and Replogle were both hospitalized in fair condition. A 10, 6, and 5-year old child were passengers in Bayless’s vehicle and there were all treated and released from the hospital.

According to authorities, unsafe speed was the main factor in the collision.
