Woman Injured in Geary Car Crash

A woman from Geary, Oklahoma was injured in a car accident in Blaine County Sunday.

According to officials with the Oklahoma City Police Department, 54 year-old Sheila Kay Nuzum was injured in a single-vehicle accident outside of Geary Sunday. The accident occurred when Nuzum was driving in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee east on a county road, when she lost control and swerved off the south side of the road, striking a mailbox.

Police say Nuzum was ejected 30 feet from the vehicle as it rolled over one-and-a-half times. She was transported to Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City after the accident. She is listed in good condition.
