Woman killed, another injured when car strikes pedestrians in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was killed and another person was injured when a vehicle collided with a pair of pedestrians in Northwest Oklahoma City yesterday afternoon, News on 6 reports.

The two people were crossing NW 23rd Street at N Pennsylvania Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. when they were struck by a westbound Nissan.

Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The second person was less seriously injured.

Investigations are ongoing, and new developments will be reported on this blog.
