Wrong way collision kills 2 on Hwy 169 near 91st St

TULSA, OK – Three people were killed when their vehicle was struck head-on by a car traveling the wrong way Monday night, KJRH reports.

According to police, a white car was traveling on southbound Hwy 169. Shortly after getting on the off-ramp to 91st St, they were struck by a silver BMW going the wrong way. The impact caused the white car to catch on fire.

Over a dozen emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene around 10:15 p.m. They pronounced all three people dead at the scene.

Crews closed the area down for about 4 hours to clear the accident.
